This Siskiyou Crest Artist in Residence Program hosts one artist, of any medium, for five days, May 21-May 26, 2026, at the spectacular and historic Acorn Woman Lookout on the Rogue-River Siskiyou National Forest. The artist has a chance to create art with endless views of the snow-capped Siskiyou Crest, with wildflowers in bloom, star-filled skies, beautiful sunsets, sunrises, and abundant bees, birds and butterflies.

The Siskiyou Crest Moth Project is studying the moth diversity of the Siskiyou Crest region along the border of northwest California and southwest Oregon, through scientific research and community science.
